Our office has grown a bit this summer with the addition of four new hires. Below is a little about each of them.

Mary Coleman Clark graduated with a Masters of Architecture from Georgia Tech in 2013. She joined the ArchitectureWorks team in July.

Architecture is optimism—the capability of imagining and creating a bolder future.

Ryan Coleman graduated with a Bachelors of Architecture from Auburn University in 2008. He joined the ArchitectureWorks team in June.

My broad overall goal with regard to life is to try and make a positive difference the best that I can.  I feel  architecture   gives me the best chance at that goal by helping inform the impactful language of the built environment and help raise awareness that space and atmosphere play a significant role in our daily lives.  I believe that careful attention to those qualities can make a positive difference.

Selena Tew graduated with a Bachelors of Architecture from Mississippi State University in 2014. She joined the ArchitectureWorks team in June

Architecture continues to grow more and more complex for me, especially since I have started working these past two months. What you learn in school and what you learn in real practice are so different. In a way, I feel like I am starting my first year of architecture school over. However, I am still interested in the same ideas. I love that architecture can engage all of one’s senses to create a unique experience for each individual. Spaces that I find the most moving don’t shout for my attention, rather they let me explore and discover moments on my own through the way they interact with my body.

Will McGarity graduated with a Bachelors of Architecture from Auburn University in 2011. He joined the ArchitectureWorks team in April.

Architecture takes time and patience to make something thoughtful and useful
