Carrigan’s Public House anchors the Blackwell Loft Building redevelopment and offers masterfully crafted cocktails and modern takes on bar-food classics. The bar’s spacious patio pays tribute to owner David Carrigan’s other business – a masonry company – with large stone “furniture” that serves as both benches and tables. The patio connects to a roof terrace via a custom exterior steel stair with views out to Birmingham’s southern skyline. The bar’s interior features a wide array of salvaged materials, from reclaimed wood-clad walls and industrial electrical box wall art, to an entire half-car that hosts the taps for the bar.
